Thank you to our two judges, esteemed artists Artist Rox De Luca, and Samuel McLennan, Founder of Project Interrupt, for carefully reviewing all the creative litter sculptures and thoughtfully selecting our winning entries.

“All of the entries were just delightful! Every single student involved has done such a great job in creating such an amazing array of sculptures in a limited window of time.”

Rox De Luca, Artist

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this process. So much thought has gone into these sculptures, it made judging the winners a very hard choice. I was able to really use my intuition when judging. Similar to my journey of building my raft, I understood the process of going through materials that I would find and how they could be of use and not just left as waste to harm the environment and wildlife. This enabled me to understand the artist’ process thoroughly.
