The theme of the Clean Up Australia Schools Litter Sculpture Competition is Nature Reimagined, encouraging students to rethink waste materials, transforming discarded items into thought-provoking works of art which showcase elements of nature.
In celebration of our 35 th anniversary, renowned Australian artist Timothy Johnston has created a stunning new design for Clean Up Australia’s merchandise, in recognition of the organisation’s origins and ongoing commitment to the environment.
The Clean Up Australia community project at Redfern and Waterloo saw six monthly Clean Ups take place in public housing estates in the City of Sydney area.
