What was started thirty years ago, by an "average Australian " who had a simple idea to make a difference in his own backyard has now become the nation's largest community-based environmental event - but none of it could happen without you  - our much loved and highly valued community of volunteers who Step Up to Clean Up each year.

Can you believe more than 20 million Australians have donated their time as part of Clean Up Australia activities over the last 30+ years? Now it's time to celebrate and share those stories! We're looking for the individuals - and groups - doing great things for the environment. 

Let us know the basics here and we'll be in touch to ask for more information.  Please make sure if you're nominating someone you know, that you seek their permission prior to completing this form. And please don't nominate a minor unless you're their parent or legal guardian.

Don't forget, we're calling on all Australians to Step Up and make a pledge towards reducing their waste contribution.

Could you Step Up by saying no to straws? To bringing your own waterbottle? To composting? To buying recycled, to choosing not to buy fast fashion or refusing to purchase fruit and vegetables pre-wrapped in plastic?
