Clean Up the World Weekend 2008 Overview

The Clean Up the World Weekend will be held 19-21 September 2008.

Clean Up the World Weekend, celebrated globally on the 3rd weekend in September is the Clean Up the World flagship event.

Groups, organisations, businesses and communities around the world who wish to address an environmental issue by coming together to conduct an activity or project can join Clean Up the World.

Clean Up the World encourages its member organisations to organise an activity on, or around, Clean Up the World Weekend and to think of ways to engage the community in long-term environmental initiatives.

Membership is free and renewable annually.

Clean Up the World members also conduct activities throughout the year. Efforts are recognised in our annual Clean Up the World Activity Report .
